Infraquinta Meeting Tuesday 7th December 2010

Landscaping for three areas (old cisterna, adjacent to Plot 13 and palm trees) is scheduled for January to March 2011 The budget is in place and mainly "dry" landscaping will be carried out. The other dead palms will be removed and missing palms will eventually be replaced (possibly with other types of tree, for example olive)

Refuse.  Recycled waste will continue to be collected by a private company. Once the underground  bins for household waste are completed these will be emptied by Infraquinta.  Door to door collection could be arranged for villas if there is sufficient demand.

Owners who have large items that need collecting can contact Infraquinta (289 390 030) and these will be removed free of charge.

Footpaths.  These will not be replaced by calcada but work has been promised to improve them. Hopefully problems caused by tree roots and deteriorating manhole covers will be dealt with first. We requested removal of a pine tree from the footpath between 75 and 59 because the roots are damaging  drains 

Fees . There will not be any  increase in fees for 2011. Fees for all Infraquinta's areas go into a single fund and this is allocated throughout their area of responsibility as needed each year. Sometimes this will be to our advantage, sometimes not.

Street Lights Infraquinta plan to change our street lights to the style used in Quinta do Lago. Initially they will change the lamps and keep the existing posts.  Matching posts will be added later. There are some problems because of the way some owners have incorporated posts into walls etc.
