Infraquinta Meeting Monday 1st February

Roads
Now that work on the resurfacing has been completed Infraquinta will proceed with road marking and signs.
They consider all roads to be suitable for 2 way traffic but will put No Entry signs at the plots 57/78 junction to reduce the danger at the corner by plots 44/29.
Stop signs will be erected between plots 40/41 and 26/27 to reduce the danger of accidents at the cross roads.

Refuse collection
The recycling bins will soon be in use and door to door collections will start later this year.

Zona Verde maintenance
Infraquinta will take responsibility for the area around the palm trees on plots 78/79 and also the area next to plot 13 which housed the old sewage pump. The situation regarding the grass area between plots 68/69 and 76 is not yet resolved though Infraquinta has been reminded of the need to make the old cisterna safe.

Footpaths
Infraquinta will examine the paving stones and manhole covers with a view to repairs and improvements

Plot 21
Eng. Luis has been in contact with the Camara and builders to safeguard our water supply through the plot
SPOA also has a meeting with the Camara next week to discuss issues relating to the building work.

Water run off from plots

Owners  will  remember that  Infraquinta expressed concern  over illegal drainage before they started the road reconstruction.
Some  owners  responded  and modified their drainage but others did not.
Excessive water running onto the road and seeping into the foundations will reduce the life of the road.

Recently   there has also  been  the  problem of  pool staff and gardeners leaving hoses  draining over the roads for extended periods.

It would be helpful if you could speak to  your  staff and point out that this is not allowed

INFRAQUINTA RATES 2010

Infraquinta has published the revised rates that it will charge from February 2010. Overall the charging structure is a little different with increases in some areas and reductions in others.

Waste and Maintenance.
The solid waste collection cost has been reduced but a third category of 'Infrastructures Quality and Environment has been added. The overall effect has been to increase the fees from €12.36+IVA to €13.64+IVA per bed per month.

Water Supply
A monthly 'standing charge' of €6.00 has been added but there is a reduction in the M3 cost of water consumed in some categories.

Up to 30M3 per month is now €0.80 and 31M3 to 50M3 is €1.20 per month.
The previous charges were €1.05 up to 100M3 and €1.40 above this.
In addition there is now an additional category of €2.00 per M3 for consumption above 50M3 per month
IVA at 5% needs to be added

The overall effect on owners consuming at around 50M3 per month is neutral. Heavy users will pay more and light users may not save enough in the reduction per M3 to compensate for the €6.00 standing charge
