UPDATE February 18th 2009

Phase 2 road work has not yet started but it has been confirmed that it is on schedule and that a start should be made in the next 2 weeks.

Refuse collection New domestic waste bins have been installed. These sit in the ground and are approximately 1 metre tall and should be much easier to use than the old green bins which have now been removed. The new bins are set into the parking areas in the locations of the old bins, with the addition of a further bin by the recycling bins near the entrance. At the moment we have no further information about in ground recycling bins within Salinas.

Phase 1 road manhole covers have now been set at the correct level and concreted into place then finished off with a layer of tarmac
